Sample door April 1, 2024 Reviewer: Theresa Bailey from Hudson, WI United States   I recently have been shopping around for the best cabinet for putting together. This door was far superior than the others I have gotten as samples. Solid construction, and real wood veneer. Not a picture of wood. I will be using barker cabinets for my future project! Ideal Purchase to test finishes May 19, 2022 Reviewer: ML from Park City, UT United States   The unfinished walnut slab sample door provides both front/back surfaces to test stain/oil/finish options at home. Also ordered were the walnut-2-coats-clear and walnut tamarack stain…the difference between the two being primarily the Tamarack blending and balancing the lighter grains in the walnut veneer: So, if you want more light to dark variation, the 2-coats-clear is for you, but if you want less contrast in grain, tamarack is ideal to bring out the walnut color without the pattern of lighter grain anomalies.
