Disclaimer:
Staining raw wood can be tricky. Be sure to stain a test piece prior to staining you entire order. Barker Cabinets is not responsible for color match issues. Some materials like Alder, Maple, red oak, etc tend to get blotchy when stain is applied. Be sure to brush the stain on in the direction of the wood grain itself. The customer is fully responsible for the outcome when applying stain manually by hand.

The stain matched the expresso varnish on my maple wood. Even without conditioning the surface was smooth without botches.
